Vinhas Do Calhau Review. This place is in an unbeatable and great location, just a short walk from the island, the ocean, and the famous vineyard of Pico. the staff truly stood out as they were very helpful and made our stay excellent. Our room was beautifully decorated and came with an individual safe, air conditioning, and a mini-bar, which added to our comfortable experience.

Our hotel was in a marvellous and absolutely perfect location near the beach. The place was metres from Cosmic Kitchen, where you can have dinner.

Everything was as perfect as can be.

The staff was nice, the room was outstanding, everything was brand-new. Location: the hotel was really close to the sea, Faial and mountain as well as the famous vineyard. I had some drinks at The Lord High Admiral, positioned 500 metres away...

Upon arrival, we found our apartment ready and offering a lovely view.

This hotel offers a comfortable bedroom with great amenities like a sofa bed, central heating, and an iron.

Our stay at Vinhas Do Calhau was amazing. The staff was incredibly helpful and provided us with a detailed island map, pointing out all the attractions and swimming areas. They even helped us plan our climb up Pico mountain and provided us with a pre-climb breakfast. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with a great view from the terrace. The breakfast, although not the best, was sufficient to start our day. I would highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful stay in Madalena.

The staff is wonderful. Ana is amazing, helping us with our rental car and missing luggage. Spacious room with a great view. Helpful host with an annotated map. Modern and well-equipped apartment. Conveniently located near attractions. Friendly staff. Comfy mattress for resting. Great breakfast delivered to the room.

Nothing for me.

The apartment had a modern and stylish design, and the facilities were well-furnished. We enjoyed the breathtaking view of the sea, mountains, and islands from the balcony. the personnel were quite accommodating and responsive to our small requests. We appreciated that the location was excellent, near all the main attractions of the island.

The breakfast was very poor, lacking in both selection and portions. the bedroom was not fully separated from the living room, which made it difficult to have privacy.

We had an amazing experience during our recent stay. the apartment had an incredible sea view and was very modern and comfortable. the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, providing us with recommendations for local restaurants and activities. Finally, we really appreciated the location, slightly outside of the city center but with easy access to all facilities.

While the continental breakfast was tasty, it was quite basic and lacked variety. the lack of a swimming pool on site would have been a nice addition, although we did find plenty of natural swimming pools nearby on the island.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The staff was very professional, friendly and helpful. They gave us great recommendations for places to visit in this city. The hotel facilities were excellent, and the rooms were very spacious, tastefully decorated and clean. We really appreciated the view from the rooms, which was just like a painting. Moreover, the location was perfect as it was very close to the ocean and the beach, and we could hear the sound of the sea and birds in the morning. The breakfast was absolutely amazing too.

This modern apartment is a perfect choice for longer term business travellers. With its great location so close to the ocean, you can hear the waves crash against the shore from your cozy room. the apartment is well-equipped with a beautifully furnished kitchen and comfortable bed, making it perfect for enjoying a homemade meal while enjoying the sea view. Plus, the terrace is a unique facility allowing you to relax by the fire pit and take in the fresh air.

The bathroom could be improved.
